If any of the components you are connecting do not have an HDMI interface, then component video is the next best choice. These connections are three RCA type jacks normally labeled “Y, Pb/B, Pr/R.” They are color coded to match the cables for easy installation. Some systems are equipped with Digital audio coaxial cable connections. If you are a true audiophile, you’ll want to stick with optical TOSLink. This is hands down one of the best values out there. Any kit that has a HDMI cable AND others (including an optical cable) for this low of a price…… Come on. The HDMI cable is $50.00 all by it’s self, and that’s cheap for one. You get all the cables and more that you will need for a standard setup. Even some for a more robust setup. Just buy it already!!
