Mitsubishi is transforming high definition television with it’s laser light powered L65-A90 DLP. The LaserVue™ television which has been tested to only use about one third the power consumption of current plasma and LCD televisions. Mitsubishi claims that the L65-A90 produces a color gamut measured at about 200 percent of numerous high definition televisions on the market. | The Magnavox TB100MW9 (Magnavox TB100MG9 has been discontinued and replaced by this upgraded version) and Magnavox TB100MW9A (with analog pass-through) have the standard features found on most DTV converter boxes. While the image is not of DVD type quality it is still better the most standard definition television broadcasts. The program guide gives brief summary of content for several hours of programming on the current channel. It does have a channel scanner, however you can tune to a specific channel without the scan. The remote control is very basic and most options will have to be changed though the on-screen menu. The box itself does not have any buttons, so all operation is conducted with the remote control.
