Even though the LN40A550 has many advanced features seen on higher end HDTV’s, it is definitely not priced like one. With an increased dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1 and a faster 5ms response it offers smooth action for your movies, sports and gaming. The Samsung LN40A550 LCD also has excellent connectivity options with three HDMI ports and USB 2.0 port. The only minor issue is the limit of the Wiselink USB as it does not allows viewing movies or listening to music. You can only view a slide show of your pictures. However, for most people this will most likely not be an issue. So, if your trying to find the best deal on a 40 inch HDTV, then the Samsung LN40A550 is an excellent choice.
