Biggest gripe is that the remote control does not have a Open Close switch for the DVD tray.
Sound is not huge but enough for small room (12 x 12′) – turned up all the way – overall output is 100W after all.

Just got the item in today. NO am/fm tuner!! NO hdmi output!! I knew buying it that it was only a 100w system and that it did not upconvert to 1080, but that was ok… it was only $92. But it is a dvd player… how do you not put an hdmi output on the unit, especially when amazon offers the unit as a bundle to include an hdmi cable?!?!?! And no tuner?? sending back first thig in the morning. For only $50 more you can get the tuner, an hdmi out, 250w instead of 100w, and the 1080 unconvert. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SYSTEM!!!!!

I was wondering if you can mount these speakers on a wall with a wall mount? Also, I was wondering which had a better sound quality this surround system or a Coby surround system? Thanks!

Since the unit didn’t work, I returned it. This review then is useless. I must say that Amazon made the return as easy as it possibly could be and I will order from there again because of this issue. Thanks Amazon. Can’t comment on the unit though.

As I write I’m enjoying this system very much for it’s value and sound. I purchased the “RCA home theater system RTD3131 E” at 130 Watts of power for $70 bucks (plus tax) at [...]. This model was the closest I could find to my model on Amazon.com. I find this to be a bargain for all that you get with it. A DVD Player to boot with a surround sound system. I didn’t even buy this for a home theater system but as an amp for my turntable. I use the DVD player as a CD drive. I’m very happy with this purchase. I just hope it doesn’t break anytime soon
