| The Samsung LN32A450 32 inch high definition LCD TV has a classy gloss black modern design. The speakers are smartly hidden which adds to the sleek design. The remote control that is included with the LN32A450 is ergonomically designed to fit well in your hand. However, the buttons are not back-lit and you cannot use it to control your other devices. The remote is also prone to smudges as the finish has the same gloss black as the TV. The 720p resolution on the LN32A450 with it’s 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio creates sharp, detailed pictures for viewing high definition programming. The Series 4 LCD HDTV is compatible with 480p, 720p and 1080i content, and supports down scaled 1080p high definition content. There are some details lost with 1080i sources. With the 6 ms response of the Digital Natural Image Engine, the Samsung LN32A450 produces deep blacks and accurate, vivid colors perfect for sports and video games. The smart user interface on the LN32A450 has advanced picture settings like those found on higher-end plasma TVs. You can easily navigate through all of the menu options right on your screen. Adjust the color or adjust the picture settings using several preset modes along with customized picture settings for different content like movies, sports, and gaming. Attaching a PC with the VGA input, the Samsung LN32A450 performs very well With analog content. However,when using an HDMI cable the picture is not a sharp and crisp. Some of the details are lost viewing HD content. Overall, with its great picture quality, the Samsung LN32A450 LCD HDTV is the best in class for small sets. If your thinking of getting a second flat panel set for your bedroom, or just need a smaller set for the living room, this Samsung is definitely worth considering. |

This TV is truly a gem. Number and variety of connections is very versatile and conveniently located. PC connection and USB port is a cherry on top. Picture is magnificent right out of the box, gorgeous deep blacks. Color accuracy is commanding, as well as video processing. I was also pleasantly surprised by its performance on Standard Definition channels. |

The pictures on the HD Channels are awesome you almost feel like your there in person. I was also very impressed in the video quality on the NON-HD Channels, some look almost as good as the HD pictures. The remote is easy to use and very intuitive, as are the menus to control/modify the TV settings. The downside to the remote is that it has the same glossy black finish as the TV and always looks dirty from all the handling. Overall this is an excellent TV and I expect it will give me many years of trouble free use. |

I love the picture quality of this monitor. I love that the response time is fast enough to play games, and the picture quality is sharp enough to enjoy movies. One thing I’d niggle over is that there is only a VGA connector or S-video connector for connecting a PC – which means that signal is only analog. I’d prefer a digital connector, such as DVI, and I’d like the resolution to be capable of going higher.
I got this actually to fit into an armoir in the bedroom, and it will mostly be used for watching movies. I would have probably preferred a 37″ or 40″, but it wouldn’t fit. As it is, I think this screen is beautiful, the picture quality is the best in its class. I’m thankful for the 3 HDMI input connectors, as I can connect multiple devices (PS3/Blu-Ray player, HD-DVD player, DVD player or cable box), and the built in tuner means I can tune in to over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna. |
