| I don’t have HD Cable at the moment but i do have a PS3 so regular TV stations look just pretty much average or maybe a little below on this set. However get your hands on an HD source and it is a whole different world. I plugged my PS3 into this thing via an HDMI cable and the visuals were nothing short of jaw dropping. I played some standard DVDs in the PS3 as well and they looked quite awesome as well. I am no professional when it comes to HD TV but I would have to reccomend this set to anyone looking for a good affordable HD Set. Just one thing that I don’t understand. My PS3 auto detected the maximum resolution when I hooked it up to this set and it says it is displaying in 1080p instead of 720p and the sets limit is supposed to be 720p from everything that i have read. At any rate it looks and performs fine. Beyond fine actually. | |

| This was a Consumer Reports best buy and I am not disappointed. Even though this was not the particular model they recommended (they recommended the VO model & all I could find was this VU model) I called Vizio & they said the only difference between the two was that the VO model had picture in a picture & this one didn’t- so who cares? Remarkable picture, easy set-up & attractive finish. The remote is simplistic- that’s good- but I wish it had channel skip- or at least I haven’t found it yet. Sound quality is not good from the built in speakers but my sound is routed through an AV receiver as it is with most set-ups. Buy it |

| Viewed side by side with the Samsung LN32A450 and Sony’s Bravia 32″ the Vizio’s picture quality was somewhat (thought not greatly) inferior to the other two. However, the almost 40% price discount of the Vizio compared to the Samsung was larger than the quality difference. Once home (and not sitting next to the Samsung), the Vizio looks great. It’s a 7 for picture quality. but a 10 for value. Overall, an 8. | |

I just got the 1080p version the VO32LF and the picture quality is really good. No glare issues and perfect for my extra room. Vizio really is great at delivery a quality tv for a resonable price.
